CMM/REVERSE ENGINEERING
Coordinate measuring machines, or CMM, provide precise measurements for the physical and geometrical characteristics of an object on an x, y, and z axis. CMM is utilized in manufacturing in order to help verify dimensional measurements and accuracy of profiles, angles, orientations and relationships and depth mapping. The result is the generation of a digital image or map of the part being measured. Wolverine Carbide and Tool utilizes CMM technology not only to verify dimensional accuracy of the parts we manufacture but also as an integral tool for the reverse engineering of machine replacement parts.
